The devs released this game for free, so I tried it out. And damn. I wasn't sure how a top down game could be scary, but this shit took the cake. I'm on day 8 and still having a blast at my own pace, I would reccomend it to anyone. For those that have played the game, let's share some horror stories.

>first night at second hideout
>hunker down in the workbench/oven room
>barricade the window, the front door and the bathroom door
>push furniture in front of the doors, put a bear trap in front of the window
>just me, my stick, and two lamps while the generator hums outside
>nothing happens for the first few moments of the night
>suddenly crows fly over the top of my house, a whole murder of them
>think nothing of it, it's just ambience to set the mood
>stick savage bursts through my bathroom
>beat his ass down with a stick
>savage starts beating on my window
>hear the low bass of morning approaching, since night will be over soon I plan to run out and kill that bastard on the window
>open bathroom door just an inch
>screen starts shaking, a giant bird-like creature materializes on the screen and starts screaming at me
>loud as fuck
>close the door and run back to the other room sitting in the corner
>hear heavy footsteps in the bathroom
>just before it enters the room, morning comes

I dunno what the fuck just happened but goddamn I am spooked. Never attempting to leave the house at night ever again.
