Maybe "bounty" has a different meaning in Nintendos fucked logic. "Bounty on an entire animal species". Also didn't Admiral Dane tell us to go after all the corrupted hunters without actually saying kill them?

Come on man, we've talked about this before. The original dev team just thought "bounty hunter" sounded like a cool English phrase to describe a space hero. They had no idea that it actually meant "person who tracks down criminals for money." When the guys at Retro suggested working in bounty hunting gameplay elements into one of the Primes, the Nintendo guys were shocked at the notion and shut it down quickly.

None of the cast in MPH are bounty hunters besides Samus. The closest is Noxus, but he's from a race of Space Paladins unaffiliated with the GF so I don't think he really counts.
