For all intents and purposes, in order for a 3rd party game to maximize profits on a Nintendo system, it should:

1. Not be an exclusive unless it's timed, Nintendo of America may attempt to have alterations made to it unless there's a possibility that people will overlook it for a version of the game that kept the original content

2. Be released at the same time with the other system, do not overestimate the amount of people who only own a Nintendo system and release the game down the road at a later date, that's what Ubisoft did with Watch Dogs and look how much of a major flop it was for the Wii U
