Wtf do you do in this game's online multiplayer and why is it so popular?
Are there at least any competitive deathmatch modes that don't require permavirgin years worth of grinding to get the best weapons/power level/what have you?
Have fun dipshit, if youre just a casual and cant dedicate yourself to a game then just get faggy baby call of duty splatoon

>implying Destinys pvp isn't call of duty tier

weapons get scaled in normal pvp so a level 1 dude is doing the same damage as a level 20 but you'll just bitch about the current meme weapons anyway

It's a looter shooter, you shoot things to get loot. That means running strikes, completing objectives in the free-roam areas, doing PvP if you want to and running raids, along with whatever special events might be going on at the time. If you have fun chasing after gear in a game like Diablo then this is a similar thing but if that's just something you have no interest in the Destiny isn't for you.

Most PvP is normalized, meaning that your character level doesn't matter but your weapons still have their unique traits and attributes. Destiny also doesn't require "permavirgin years" worth of grinding in general, it's a pretty good game to play while holding down a full-time job since it doesn't require the same time commitment as an MMO to get to max level and get some good gear.
