Speaking of MGS3, I keep reloading a checkpoint when I get caught by guards. Am I autistic? What's the best way to play the game? I imagine I can't play this like MGSV where you go between full rambo and ghost, it would just be a waste of resources and time.

Ocelot is a spy, he says a lot of things, makes people believe he is on their side, while playing with them like with puppets. He was only really loyal to Big Boss post-MGS3, and even ended up sacrificing himself for the goal.

The Boss was a horrible mentor. Nothing more. She trained Snake, made him into the man he was and bonded with him on a level of intimacy most people will never know, and then through it all away because "muh mission". For someone who was supposed to be the ultimate warrior, the Boss was apparently vehemently opposed to independent thinking. This of course rendered her to little more than a tool of the government. One that was unceremoniously thrown away, I might add. This misplaced loyalty traumatized Snake, so much so that he renounced all connections to world governments and set about to create his own nation where soldiers would always have a place to call home. All because The Boss, the greatest soldier to ever live and founding mother of the special forces, was either too dumb or too lazy to think for herself.
