Nintendo is really pushing this game and marketing it like crazy. Metroid was also one of the biggest announcements of their E3 presentation.

They're trying to revitalize the series and pull a Fire Emblem: Awakening. Whether it happens or not remains to be seen.

Bullshit. The few bosses and puzzles we've seen from the game are more complex than anything that's required to beat Zero Mission. That game might be difficult on a low percent or 100% run but its basic path is a joke.

Not that that's saying much, but it's still par for the course with Metroid. They just replaced the waypoints and liberal map stations with a mapping power.

You still have to time it right, it also means that now the enemies charge on you instead of just going on a path like 90% of the enemies on previous 2D metroid games, in the gamexplain Q&A they also mentioned that now you can't just ignore the enemies and rush throught a room without getting some damage and the parry don't actually do damage, you still have to attack after parrying
