So I've come to the realization I need to get off my ass and actually start making some decent units. Despite what I have right now, I don't feel like I'm doing an amazing job with them, so I'd like to get off my ass and actually make a combination of decent teams and decent units. Should I bother posting my barracks and see what can be done with what I have?

If you plan to use her for arena attack, then fuse them. Swift sparrow is a rare skill though, only available through 5 star summoning of Katarina or Lyn. But in most cases fury 3 is a viable option, so it's not a must have.

B Roy would be really good with Life and Death
Celica with Renewal is a really good offensive unit and somewhat decent defensive if you keep Distant def
Abel can be good if you pair him with Lyn, Roy and Frederick (you'll need a bunch of Jagen and Gunter)
Ninian will be useful when you get a 5* Nowi to tank almost everything
Linde with LaD is one of the best infantry mages, and if you keep Aura she can also be a nice healer
Julia will just tank and kill Reinhardt, which is almost the only thing you'll need from her in arena

Yeah, the problem I've been having is I don't really feel like I have much set up to be able to clear GHBs reliably - I can usually do the easy ones, but once it hits Lunatic or Infernal I can never figure out how to approach them without losing turn 1 or 2.

Also my favorite unit is Ike so I'd like to keep using him, but I'd just like to see how i can improve what I got.

Also I have 30k feathers. I don't have a single +SPD Nino so that's off the table.

Also I don't see any GHB units in your barracks, did you SI them off/send them home?

Out of the units I see, Eirika would be a good addition thanks to her being a buffslut, Effie if she's +Atk or+Def is also great. A -Raven tome user like MRobin/SI Sophia/SI Merric or Boey is very handy for PvE and now thanks to cav lyn being everywhere, will be good in arena assault too. Nowi is pretty good as well assuming decent IVs and Fae if made into 5* can counter Reinhardt pretty comfortably. Nino is a potentially easy choice since she comes with a blade tome and is very good with it (standard glass cannon).

Those are probably your best options looking at your barracks. If you did have GHBs I'd say to consider upping Michalis since you're lacking greens and he's a flier. I'll leave Xander/Camus to one side since they only had one event but how do you not have any at all?

For your 5*s
You can get a cavalry team going with Lyn, Roy, Frederick, and gay Xander or Abel. Put hone cavalry on Frederick and Xander or Abel to buff Lyn and Roy. Give Roy fortify cavalry from a 4* Jeigan. Then throw reposition on as many of your horses as you can. This can get you through most of the game. Know that Cecilia would be a better green horse for you since she can counter the 2 biggest threats in the game right now. Kill off Fae to give Celica or Marth renewal. Julia, Marth or Ike can use fury from Hinata. Hector wants vantage, a different special proc like bonfire or moonbow and swap. Your 3 blue mages want something to boost speed like life and death or darting blow and desperation from Shanna. Julia wants green tome breaker from Henry.

For regular arena, you should use Hector, Ike, Linde and bonus unit. replace Linde with another blue infantry melee for higher score.

Hector with vantage and swap/pivot
You can try ike with quick riposte 2 instead of vantage, but if you want good arena score vantage 3 is definitely better.

Linde could run desperation set.with Fury 3 or LoD3, and moonbow.

Spring Xander has been a sleeper for me, a kinda quick build I did was Swift Sparrow (or death blow or just even +attack, seal defense, Hone Cavs and Ignis.

You can also put on my current run of him as Fortress Defense and QR, the rest is the same as above. You have the fodder for those I believe.

A femCorn is good with Darting Blow and sword breaker. Hector should have WoM or Vantage. Robin should have Tri Adapt on them, let me think a little on the rest. those were just some of the things I did on my units.

He'll want to stick with his weapon if he's +Atk. Try to get him Death Blow if you can, if not try for Attack +3. Swordbreaker is fine for his B slot. C is flexible. If you can replace his special with Luna or Draconic Aura that would be ideal.

As a general rule, I aim for 40-42 Speed on my fast units so they can double reliably. Darting Blow is a great budget option if they aren't +Spd and can't reach it with Fury. Life and Death is also potent, but since there's no 4* fodder it's an expensive investment. Don't be afraid to use budget skills like Stat +3.

Even if you don't pass on Lunatic, you should have at least one of each of the ones you've done since you get them on normal or hard which is why it's weird to see none (unless you've SI'd them all away).

Also try using https://www.fehkeeper.com/ to keep track of all your units, it's pretty handy at being able to tell the IVs of units you don't know and it can also show you what loadouts other people put on the same unit (the three most popular options for each slot) which is quite handy.

I've mostly had Ninian as a dancer just because she's -ATK and can't kill dick all. I've honestly been trying to get Azura or whoever the fuck just so I can replace her.

Frederick already has Brave Axe+ which is why he's 5*. I pulled a fucking garbage Raven or something and used him as fodder. Think it was -ATK.

I, uh... I dropped about $50 back when the game was new but have been F2P ever since. I just play constantly.

That having been said, I'm weighing my options with Camus or Valter to round out Setsuna/Zephiel/MelonTiki as my arena team. I'll probably fuse those Lyndis, too. Swift Sparrow might help Setsuna, but she already has LoD3 and it would be a net loss for damage potential.

Ninian is still going to be a support unit with Triangle Adept, but it also gives her a niche of walling reds and slowly wearing them down. You could also go Fury, but again, that wouldn't be my first choice for foddering Hinata.

Since you're already checking 4* units for IVs, how about those Marths and your Soren? Soren can make an interesting middle ground between Nino and Julia, and you're a bit lacking in the green department.

Don't fuse the Lyns unless you want to go full whale, she has a couple of rare and hard to get skills (2nd non event unit to get sparrow and the only unit to get atk smoke) that are pretty good to pass on.

Ideally you'd slap a hone on Camus so Lyn gets that big buff off him but his goad will still be ok for her (2 atk and 2 spd less but the two spaces will give you a little more freedom on the map) but she may miss out on some kills because of that so watch out.

Don't bother with Camus as he won't be a bonus unit unless you swap Setsuna out for Lyn and go with Lyn/Camus/Azura/Nino or Tharja (you always want one unit to hit Res in case of armor memes).

RIP, if only you did it'd be pretty easy to go for tier 20. Either way, just step back from any battle (uses a sword but doesn't kill your streak) which has less than 686 score given per round and you'll hit tier 20 with a deathless run. Watch out for the occasional whale team though, some of them can be pretty scary.

The fact that if you don't cheese the first battle with subpar units (4 stars that are lvl 35+) and then play normally you need 21 more unique units (cannot use two of the same) to then fight the other 6 which are not slapped with the same restriction you have. So enjoy fighting a million Reinhardts/B.Cordelias/Dancers/whale teams with only your barracks. Oh and if you surrender mid streak it ends the streak there which is pretty bad.

+Spd can still work out on some brave units since it allows them to quad people and can protect them from getting doubled from some units. A +Spd Abel at level 40 has 30 Spd which is still decent and with a hone buff and a goad buff (assuming you build a cav team at some point), he'll hit 40 Spd which is enough to double a lot of units. Since he has a brave lance any doubles he'd get from being 5 Spd higher become quads when he's attacking which is pretty decent.

Also having a -breaker skill (e.g. his default swordbreaker 3) in your B slot and a brave weapon means that if you fight them it'll always quad them anyway on initiation as long as you're above 50% health.

If you do decide to SI him away, be sure to pass on his swordbreaker 3 as well as his lance+ (pass a regular brave lance and swordbreaker one off some shitters like 3* Donnel and Sully) as swordbreaker 3 is a great skill and hard to get without having a couple of specific 5* units (Sully and Ike, Abel being the only one who learns it at 4*)

Should IS want a game that forces most of the players to stop playing an event mode for hours at a time? Probably not. But it's mind blowing that people were stupid enough to pile on votes for Lyn when Camilla was 100% beaten. I wanted to get Camilla's bonus activated sooner because it's impossible to get the retarded fanbase to understand the game and I knew this would happen but the NA crowd was slowing down in votes so I stopped too. The more popular character wins the popularity contest. What makes Gauntlets interesting is that the loser can still win if the winners aren't careful enough.

All you need to hit 20 is around a 4800 score, maybe even lower now. The main thing you'll need on your team is a Rein (and maybe now a lyn) counter if you want to do things brainlessly.

If you don't mind using horses and yours have good IVs just go with Xander, Rein, Cecilia(-ravenTA) and a bonus unit, hell probably the most important thing is your bonus unit being 5* and having all their skill slots inherited up for max points. You really don't need to get too fancy with things, if your Rein sucks then try Lyn, if that sucks throw Hector in, it's just whatever.

Personally my offense team consists of Hector, Xander, Rein, and a bonus and T20 entrance requires zero thought.

Im seriously confused as to why Camilla is so popular.
Her character is just a crazy yandere. In no conversation did she change or displayed another personality besides "unexplained, unreasonable crazy love for the male avatar".
Even in the main story she was just that.
Elise and Sakura had shitton of character development in their games (Sakura mainly has that in Conquest while Elise has character development in both games) and Hinoka displayed some different personality traits other than "tomboy" in her support conversations (aswell as her story of becoming a pegasus knight is explained and understandable).
Camila is the worst one of the 3 games, yet she is the most popular one.

Is it realy just the design? Has the Fire Emblem Community fallen so low that the visual design is the most important aspect to a character?
