Okay this thread is kind of retarded but it's as good a place to ask as any; Is there a game that did a DoT class right?

It feels increasingly like there's no room for DoT classes in modern MMOs, where it's all about rushing and the DoTs doing their damage over X seconds isn't good enough. Warlock always felt like this toward the end of an expansion, Summoner feels like shit in XIV too, but mostly because they keep pulling the focus away from the DoTs.
