Found a KFA2 GTX 1070 for sale on a local site, apparently it has a problem so the guy is selling it for 50 bucks, it doesnt show no signal on display just black screen, code B2 on motherboard and it shows in device manager when he checked with iGPU also he flashed the newest bios on it successfully, so do you think he's just retarded and its his side or is the gpu broken beyond repair

maybe you could SLI it with another 1070 but it's probably not worth a shit
>>389279220
maybe it's fucked
maybe the seller is retarded
maybe it's just a broken displayport
who knows? want to gamble 50$? can you even repair shit?
>>389279547
i doubt i can properly repair in the case that its broken but i think he's just dumb the card doesnt seem totally dead and there is no "no signal" screen so it seems to function
>>389279673
and if the IO ports are fucked? that would explain why it's recognized in devices but shows no signal.
can you repair that? I suppose you're from US

Buy it. If it doesn't work, ebay it as for parts not working, underplay the issues, and get $100 anyway.
>>389280597
hmm well he sends it as is with the box and everything inside it would i be able to trick them or do they want proof of purchase
>>389280642
I'm sorry I meant to ask seriously but my sense of humor is terrible and got the better of me

>>389282257
Maybe his motherboard bios isn't up to date. some people on google seems to have resolved the issue this way.
>>389280210
If you could solder it would be an easy buy, otherwise get it, if $50 isn't a big deal for you.
I mean even to cooler would be worth so much.
>>389279220
