Join Miusaki and Ceoreparque, two all-new characters from Alicianrone, on a board game adventure! The new DLC contains a new single player campaign that expands the lore of the Orange Juice universe!

The Witch Pack contains:

Miusaki
HP: 4, +1/-2/+1, Rec: 5
When using Defend in battle, never take more than 2 damage at once.

Hyper (Boost): Solid Witch
Level: 2, Cost: 20
Effect Duration: 1 chapter. Take no damage.

Ceoreparque

On successful Evasion, deal 1 damage to opponent.

Version 1.20 ~Two Witches~ Now Live (9/3/2017)

Changes:
New map, Witch Forest, can be unlocked by finishing the Girl Power campaign, or by purchasing from the Shop.
The campaign dialogue's look has been updated. Speaker names are now visible.
Improved typing for lobby name, password and filter fields.
Attempting to join a lobby no longer resets your own stored password.

Fixes:
Fixed Frost Cave and Treasure Island maps not having pop-ups telling you when they become available.
Fixed issues with chat word wrap.
Fixed certain characters being drawn too close to the sides in the unit portrait.
Fixed "VICTORY!" being displayed if NoName was forced into pot form during battle
Fixed random filter windows not all having the updated row count. Some screens still had only 6 maps per column, now they should all have 12.
Fixed event window being drawn too low for clients using 800x600.
It should no longer be possible to temporarily see the new order of cards shuffled by Confusion event.

Balance:
Big Bang Bell's initial damage is now 2 (up from 1).

Except Miu first has to think you've placed your hyper and not some other trap, THEN play her hyper at the start of her turn, THEN actually end up landing it on the same turn for it to "Counter" it. That's in no way a counter. She's not even a defensive character in the first place and it costs her 20 stars for even attempting to use her hyper in that way.

Just because a character has a way to interact with yours in a way that can potentially end in their advantage doesn't mean it's a counter to yours. You might as well say any character with too much Hp is a counter to Saki (When in reality it's a general defensive advantage) or any character with +atk is a counter because Saki has +1 evasion (When in reality it's a general offensive advantage).

My opinion so far:

Repa has a really good hyper, but her stats are pretty bad. The 1 damage after evade is cool, but that's not going to do shit for you against bullies like Yuki and Starbo who can pretty much wreck you.

Miu seems much better IMO. She's kind of tanky despite only having 4 HP and having +1 to ATK is always nice. Invincibility hyper is nice, too.

Ubiquitous is straight up the best hyper in the game, no question. It's only balanced by being on a bad character like Poppo. Just imagine if it was the hyper of any character who actually had positive defense.

Aru and Kiriko's hypers are kinda cheesy though. Aru's is usually pretty bad unless if you make a cheesy deck and get lucky, or just draw it super early and get a fast norma. Kiriko's is only good if you get lucky and the stars align for a good one. Using it to just kill one target (Like yourself) isn't very good when other characters can just pudding or dinner or something.

Ubiquitous is only really better than those two because it's more consistent. Both Present for You and Final Surgery offer far more potentially, but they're harder to use properly.

Stages with hard to reach draw spaces can lead to Aru getting fucking massive amounts of stars. She can potentially get 120 stars from one Present For You - if the stars align perfectly. She can do that as early as Norma 2. Ubiquitous can only steal 50 stars during the end game, and that puts you in the line of fire of people who potentially have a Final Battle or Big Magnum aimed at your ass.

I'd agree with you if not for the fact that having a large healthpool like hers gives her way more value for the stronger healing cards in the game like Pudding and Quick Restoration. Plus she's one of few characters who can make good use of Reverse-Attribute Field.
Not to mention her hyper lets her get the final norma with no risks attached to it since she can just hold out until someone gets close enough to her home and then the game just fucking ends right there. Nothing short of annihilating her cards or her stars repeatedly will prevent that from happening.

Fernet is by far the best character, Sora is about average, some people think she's the best because her hyper gives consistancy, but they forget that drawing hypers themselves is inconsistent. Sherry is the 2nd best character after Fernet, after that it's harder to determine, but those two are definitely the top two.

You'll find a few on the internet/steam, but as far as I can tell they're all awful. Most of them act like a character has their hyper all the time, heavily favor aggressive play (And have been since forever, even though Fruit Bat factory had to buff aggressive play constantly) and think gimmicky combos are something you can land every game. Fruitbat factory has made some big revisions to the game simply because of the inclusion of Fernet (She was the only +2 defense character for a long time) as well as nerfing her, so you can probably take that as a sign that Fernet was overpowered at some point and is still probably very strong.

Honestly your best bet is to try and outrace her by trying to collect stars faster than she can, and hold onto them. She doesn't collect stars any faster, she just has the smallest chance of losing her stars and wasting turns knocked down, making her extremely consistent. If you can get a star lead like from beating another player or a good bonus panel, try to play defensively and conservatively. Trying to attack Fernet is a waste of time because even if you do slow her down by attacking her, you're giving your other two opponents a chance to get ahead, so unless if you're putting together a rigged game of 2v1 or 3v1 to fight Fernet you're probably not going to win by chasing her unless if she got unlucky and lost a lot of health somewhere.
Her best counter is easily Poppo, who actually isn't a very good character but she's Fernet's best counter. Stealing 50 stars from her pretty much stops her from winning the game most of the time and stealing 100 shuts her out of the game, plus she can't retaliate well at all and you can take advantage of all the healing she puts in her deck. A safer choice can be Sherry, who can play defensively like Fernet but can also play aggressively to snipe a player for a star lead and then switch to defensive play.
If you want something more interesting, you could try out the new character Repa, she could actually potentially bully Fernet to death because you'll 'usually' do 2 damage to her per combat.
