Why do MOBAs suck so much?

20 minutes minimum where one or two mistakes can lead to a lost game and snowballing is rampant due to items/levels. Not only that, competitive team based games are almost always absolute cancer to solo queue in and MOBAs are no exception and if anything, even worse. They're still decent as they require very little micro but you can still outplay people unlike requiring Aiming in a FPS, but in the end its still way too much of a time investment to roll the dice a lot of the time.

At least smite has other modes. Arena and Clash are the only ways to play imo.
