i dunno man, the only alternative i have is Day of Infamy but i feel like that game could use a little bit more weapon variety.
maybe i should have hopped on the rising storm vietnam train but it seems like players are rather unhappy with that one as well.

Fix battlefield 1

>Can only use weapons from the country you're playing as.

Shouldn't they have announced a sequel by now? Are DICE still making EA as much shekels as they used to? They have Battlefront 2 and I don't see many handing over monies for that one, noone pays for passes there nor in BF1, Mirrors Edge was also a flop and no other game is on the horizon so things seem pretty grim desu.

i dont think artillery bombardments would be that great, you already have planes doing bombing runs, thats kinda enough.
and artillery attacks happen when you advance in specific modes.
i somewhat agree with the other points, though i don't see the point of limiting factions to their specific weapons except for >muh realism

Battlefield still sells really fucking well.
they also provide the engine for all the other studios.
EA itself has Need For Speed and Battlefront 2 comming this year, with another singleplayer star wars game and anthem next year.

this seems like a common theme with modern battlefield (everything after 3)
that the game will only really be worth playing once you get ALL content for a reasonable price when the entire DLC is released.
Bad Company 2 was good from Day 1... while the other Battlefields only got good once all DLC was out.
