>what are we DOING here?!
>FRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANK
>ohkayWWWEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLL...
I understand.
Why was his AI in particular so awful?
Was it intentional?
I was replaying this and I got to thinking about how stupid the escort is after Backup For Brad. Think about it, if you're playing for the first time or several you're probably not going to get done in the optimal time.
>escort Aaron and Burt, the former being THE worst non-injured survivor in the game
>may also be escorting the guy trapped behind boxes
>may also be carrying Leah
>will also have triggered Sophie/Convicts to appear
>the NEW PLAYER is expected to take all of them back through the longest slog in the game
>there is no other escort chain in the game this hard
I get the feeling the Entrance to Paradise Plaza shutters were meant to open after Backup For Brad, so newbies could get to understand escort mechanics without having to go too far. Also makes no sense you wouldn't open them from the otherside yourself like Brad did in the cutscene before.

It was probably intentional. If he has one of his breakdowns then Burt has to talk him out of it and if Burt gets too far away his AI just refuses to do fucking anything but die.
It amazes me how god awful everyone's AI is in a game with such attention to detail paid to it though. I can only assume the retarded survivor AI -all around- was intentionally shit.
>take my merry band of survivors out to the park on my way to the safehouse
>after the cutscene of the convicts i clear out a corner and tell my survivors to wait there
>kill the gunner and the passenger
>cutscene for nighttime zombies starts
>undoes my placement for the survivors and revives the two convicts i killed
>mfw trying to go for both transmissionary and saint in the same playthrough

The 7pm cutscene always freaks me out a little. I guess because it triggers no matter what and the zombie's freaking out is the closest thing to true 'horror' in the game.
