They stripped out the good parts of Payday 2 (executing stealthy heists, gun customization, sound design), and left in the bad parts (generic horde shooter).

Payday has the unique theme of playing a crew of heisters going for it. Not much competition there. Raid is just another WW2 shooter.

They went full retard with the upgrade system, but I'd say the game is still salvageable if they flesh out the characters and redo the weapon modifications being locked behind challenges (like the fucking DLC mods from Payday 2 being locked behind achievements, whyyy). Honestly, though, I like the new WW2 weapons in Payday 2 more than I like the Raid beta.
