Graphics and overall aesthetic is dogshit. I fucking love these games and even I will admit that I never played these games for the longest time because they looked cheap, the designs are weak as hell on everything.
If you want to appeal to a mass audience make the game more serious in tone. Like instead of ants they are actually scary looking bugs or a design that is elicit of Starship Troopers bugs, instead of campy looking, I get that thats teh point of the games but at a glance the games just look like complete ass. Keep all the gameplay the exact same, but change the visuals and tone of the game.

Still no word on the western release of EDF 5, the game releases soon in Japan

Dying Light was pretty neat, reminds me of how much a game can be improved by simply having a "kick" function and environment hazards. I dont even like zombie games, it was a free running kick simulator.
