Since its a whodunnit mystery there is a "game" element to it since the whole point of Umineko is to try and reason out the solution and then find out that it wasn't the point at all and the real goal was to enjoy the experience also there are a few interactive moments where you play actual logic games to move forward.

No, it's much worse. In the actual game, he just says "wait a minute, that card" and immediately pulls it out and just holds it. No input is required by the player, other than to interpret the card and ring the bells.
