Sonic is inherently better in 3d because you can actually see shit ahead of you

The problem is sonic team keeps tripping overthelsmeves and fucks stuff up every time they try it that shouldn't need to be fucked up, then switches gameplay styles instead of improving what works about what they did before.

Sa2, if polished to have all the jank removed and was just Sonic style gameplay, would easily be the best sonic game of all time and would more or less be the perfect fomrula for the series.

CD is shit and even Sonic 1 is better
