Got this on PSN a while ago for 20 bucks and didn't really go in with any expectations. Internet died one night so I decided to start playing it.

It was a pretty comfy and really nice light-hearted story. I liked the characters, the gameplay was pretty fun. Its not the epitome of storytelling or jrpgs but its a genuinely enjoyable experience if you like jrpgs or are familiar with the nep games.

Yes. It's a Compile Heart game that isn't infested with DLC (entirely) nor horrible combat.

Is a sealed copy of the ADF version of this on the PS4 worth a pick up for $15? I'm not really into CH or Gust games for the most part, but I can stomach the occasional generic JRPG if it's more in the traditional vein.

It's pretty decent. Would recommend the PS4 version called Advent Dark Force as that has two extra routes to play through.
