The Moon Presence could've been an amazing fight, but it literally has no moves besides just flailing around and that one aoe that lets you recover all your hp. Ebrietas suffers this same problem, where for such an interesting creature, the fight itself is not very interesting. As easy as it was, I have to give credit to Amygdala for being the only Great One fight that felt unique, besides Orphan.

Just played like 6 hours of DS3. There were way too many times in which I'd get stuck in a corner with a bunch of grunts or a fat enemy, my hits would bounce off the wall behind me while theirs would just fly through brick like thin air. Honestly that's a fat deal breaker in what is and isn't allowed. So since it took too much time to get to the point where I'm hurting people, I dumped the save and shelfed it for another fresh start in a few years. The fact that the good parts are good makes the shit parts stand out and it really takes me out of it when a fat witch clips through a wall and then bats me off at cliff.

The ones I get ether don't stagger the big ones who pin you out they can't deal when 3-4 guys rush you in a narrow space. I get to poke one 2 before I'm stunlocked into mush. Also having to pick a specific weapon like that to avoid having a disadvantage in certain areas would be fine if it were more consistent, now bad guys don't have friendly fire and a knight can thrust his whole arm through a wall and yet my animation is cancelled if I step of a 2x4 ledge. That's just unfun seeing stuff like that happen in a game that's praised so highly. I know no game is perfect but this is the only game I've seen let their monsters do Bethesda tier clipping and gets away with it. Really bums me out.

I have a similar build but I'm about 10 levels higher. Go to the DLC and grab the whirlgig axe, it's by far the best strength weapon I've encountered so far and outdamages the axe due to it's better scaling.
