Hey guys, I know a guy who's about 34 and has recently rediscovered his love for video games after getting out of the military. The thing is, he's a tech snob and with a 4k tv and wants the best of the best. What games should I recommend to him?

No artistically inspired style, no sidescrollers, only the best worlds and graphics.

No vr though. He got rid of his headset because of how blurry it was. Admittedly the graphics in vr have a ways to go.

If it were anyone else I would, trust me. I hate when people are like that but this dude was a navy corpsmen when the first wave of Marines went into Fallujah and I'm about to marry his niece.
