I was considering getting my first 3DS since I only have the original fatass version. The library doesnt look all that impressive though.

Should I bother, wait for the switch, or just stick with my PC?

If you waited this long then you can wait for Citra to become even better. Unless you can find a hackable 3ds for cheap. The system is a goldmine for jrpgs.

Citra looks promising.

I guess I might as well wait then, since I'm going to be putting together an emulator system soon-ish anyways.

Im not really into jrpgs anymore anyway, and the overall library looks surprisingly dull to me. Maybe Ill change my mind after trying out Citra.

JRPGs aren't all it has, but that's the real meat of the system. So yeah I would wait for Citra if I were you, unless you find a really good deal on a hackable 3ds.
