Valve doesn't develop in the traditional sense.

Their work force pretty much runs around doing w/e they want, which is why they don't do anything anymore, they make so much money off steam that they're all pretty much riding the steam train to retirement, and will occasionally toss out an update or add cosmetic shit to their microtransaction pools
