This is the inherent and unsolvable problem which will forever make this game unfun for the people who are good at it.

It doesn't matter how well you perform as a DPS hero if your team doesn't know how to follow up. Individual skill means nothing when your team doesn't have a clue how to actually win a match where the enemy is frequently missing half of their heros. Also there is an extreme unbalance in the skill to usefulness ratio for several heros

Younger players grew up under the CoD umbrella. Team-based anything falls second to grooming their kill:death ratio.

Other folks just aren't invested in getting gud. They'll get carried match after match, insisting their sorry performance doesn't matter outside competitive while refusing to utilize the arcade modes tailored to such indifference.

There's no shame in being meh at a game. Practice, get better, or don't. Just don't prattle on line hot shit when you play like hot garbage.
