SILENT HILL VS RESIDENT EVIL

I've played every resident evil, and any true RE fans know the earliest ones were the best, with a hard divide on 4.

After years of knowing a friend whom was an exclusive Silent Hill fan, having not played the games I gave Silent Hill 2 PC a shot with all the fixes an enhancements possible on hard difficulty.

What followed was one of THE WORST games I have ever played.

RE2 for N64 made in 1998 plays better than SH2 which was made in 2002. Here's a quick rundown:

SH2:
>beyond terrible animations
>bad combat
>both dialogue and VA just bad
>crap level design
>easy puzzles (even on hard)
>basic storyline

The best thing about SH is its slightly spooky atmosphere. Beyond that it's entirely a meme game outperformed by Resident Evil in every way.
