Ok so I fell for the hype and bought this game. Now how do I get good?

Practice some moves and combos and then try them in fights and for the love of everything, do not let losing upset you
see it as a motivation to learn; where you went wrong and try something else
practice mode is only good for finding properties of moves, don't expect to be landing combos on players, you have to create an opening and you can only really learn that the true way by playing a character you like against someone else
and don't rely on your rage art unless you're a scrub, just try and win with your own techniques but don't ever, ever let yourself get down with losing
no sadness, no anger; just keep playing and take a break if you can't focus

Last night I was training with King, he was always my favourite character in the series. I didnt get a chance to play to much last night, but I just got off work now and I'll jump on soon and get back to practice. Do you have any tips on using King btw? Thanks.
