A common criticism will be that it's a 3DS exclusive when the Switch exists. The aeon abilities will be praised for their mix-up to the formula and for making the game more user friendly. Some reviews might argue that hunting metroids is repetitive but that the flashier boss fights make up for it.

Metroid threads will be pleasant again for maybe 3-4 days but once fans finish the game the boards consensus on it will shift towards negative, claiming Metroids dead thanks to cinematics and casualization. ACfag will somehow read the outright dislike of the game on /v/ as praise and use it to re-justify his ongoing crusade.

I seriously don't get how people think the developer will effect all that much, Nintendo always keep a tight grip on third parties (look at how shit Other M's combat turned out despite being made by Team Ninja).
