Would have been amazing 10 years ago, but a ton of indie games stole it's thunder, there is probably a good reason why Ueda pretty much canned it, but Sony kept pushing to resurrect it's corpse

It's also a shame the sales were bad, so now Sony think people just want SOTC clones instead of letting Team Ico do their own thing, i can't see Ueda being able to convince Sony to publish another non action game ever again

They're both dim and cute in their own ways.

I am still a huge fan of Ico and SotC but I didn't like this one.

Each room played out roughly the same with yelling for Trico to come over and then having him positioned into a very specific spot where he'd start a "scripted" movement that will get me to the next area where the entire thing is repeated. The mix it up here and there but overall it just felt very bland.

I think what kept me engaged in Ico and SotC is that there were always little hints of lore you can ponder while exploring, but here it just all felt very uninteresting.

And another thing, in Ico and SotC the "solution" to the area in most cases felt incidental to how the area was organized, but in TLG each area looks like it was designed with a specific "solution" in mind.
