I lost like 20 lives on this stage and I still can't beat the boss. fml.

Op here. Just beat the boss/level.
Lost about 20 lives to getting crushed between the moving elevators in the zone and the last boss. I had on life life before finally getting a hang of the boss and winning. Best sonic game imo.

This stage isnt too hard.
Died a few times, but its very manageable.

Even easier with Super Sonic since you can launch yourself further so you can easily just bounce of the side bits.

The trick in this level is to spend just a little time adjusting your trajectory between the orbs that launch you around.

Robotnik can be tough, but you really just have to take down the first two tentacles first then you can easily dodge his missiles and just roll into him with a normal run up roll when the electro tentacles stop sparking up.

The shinobi heavys kind of tough but you got to jump through his spikes when he thrusts them outwards and hit the core.

The rest are pretty easy honestly.

Super Sonic boss the trick is to not spam the flash attack, and just fly into them. But hang back dodge and collect rings when you get a bit low since you can earn a little more than Super Sonic uses up.

also if you take a hidden path there's an electric shield which protects you from the tentacles.

for egg reverie it's best to attack robotnik from above.

Please tell me /v/ isn't this casual. If you're just going through the stages, you shouldn't die much. Well, a few spots are glitchy and will get you killed, but that's another issue.

I barely died at all until this last zone. And even then its not too hard. There are a lot of hazards in levels though but it doesn't matter much because you can just get back your rings.
