How do I arcane warrior?

The problem with this game was that the origins were better than the actual game. Every area dragged on way longer than they really needed to.

IIRC You find magical runes or texts when doing the wood elf quests in one of the ruins and can learn to unlock arcane warrior if you find all fragments.

Dwarf Commoner is pretty good.

Worst is Dalish, its the only origin that doesn't seem to tie well into the main game until you get to the DLC

Long journeys are fine. Wandering the Deep Roads or the Fade for 3 fucking hours isn't.

If DA sequels suck, what am I supposed to play after with a similar gameplay? All the classic CRPGs seemed to have aged like milk by comparison and there are so many of them (BG, ID, NWN, PT, etc). Which is the best and most timeless?

Human 2 Handed-weapon Warrior. The KD's and damage were so satisfying, especially in the expansion.
