God damn it /v/, was planning to take a rest from vidya. Sacrifice was so great, strange how it never got more popular. And Summoner, clunky to say the least, but something about it was very appealing. I remember back in the day when I didn't have internet I'd play any game I got my hands on till I knew every secret in it. I really think that if Dark Cloud got a new game it would do quite well, given todays market of grind being something that isnt considered as much as a deterent, and the building aspect has been a thing in games of late. Game just needs to tighten the combat a bit, and maybe add multiplayer, where the goal is to build entire cities rather than just towns.

Goddamn, I only found out about Cold Winter from some demo disc I had. Managed to track the game down, bought it, opened the case and got Cold Fear instead.
