Did a new run later and it was super easy after the Ming patch.

Reminds me of the time I played Iroquois. Waited for euros to came for westernization, but they didn't show up until around late-1500. Fast forward a couple of decades when I find out Denmark held half of Europe with Russia in PU and portugal and castille were reduced to 2 provinces in south Italy and Ireland.

Austria getting personal union over France before the religions wars. Austria also had Hungary and Bohemia, and were supporting heir in Poland.
This was all the AI, while I was struggling to form Russia despite constant invasions from Denmark, an ugly Baltic alliance and Poland-Lithuania.
Stopped playing after that.
