That's not a good thing. New people are discovering the game for completely different reasons, and that is cool as well.

As an Alliance player it pained me to see Southshore as a bubbling mass of green ooze. When I used to use it as a private Goldshire (rated G version).

Cataclysm killed WoW for me as well, after it was just bad fanfiction. People often mock roleplayers but thats one of the best ways to tell if the game is healthy for MMOs, they literally disappeared over night when that xpac hit.
