Yeah I know, that's how classic Lara looks like, but if they are going to go that route they should also make the environments look cartoonier. They could stand to make her a bit more realistic without losing her feminine charms.

They rebooted the series, so unfortunately they won't go back. They invested far too much money on Laura to give her up and go back to Lara. It's very doable, given how iconic Lara still is, but I just don't see it. Even if they did, I'd be very worried. Underworld was overall fine but still a step backwards from Legend/Anniversary, with the whole garbage doppelganger story line and fucking blowing up Croft Manor. I just feel like even if they brought her back, they'd tack on modern bullshit like skills, etc and make it even worse. Remakes of 2 and 3, however, I can totally get behind.

They're still obviously willing to make money off her classic look - the isometric games, mobile games, there was even a recent spin-off comic for them. It could be just dependant if the movie flops - I've always thought the new reboot was made with that adaptation in mind.
