Thing is, I agree with you. The level design looks really shit.

But the only reason anyone gives a single solitary shit about this game is the old timey cartoon graphics.

If it didn't have that and was just another above average platformer in a sea of above average platformers it'd just be another 10 dollar title on steam a dozen people would buy.
