I wouldn't even bothered if it was singleplayer only. PVP is really where it's at.
Its problem however is not being focused on one. The singleplayer is short and pretty boring and multiplayer pvp and schools are pretty much just slapped in. I wish it had some kind of ranking / ladder or generally better matchmaking options but no. Just boring levels that do nothing. It's a shame since the combat is actually very fun.
