Pretty good roguelike with snes-like-rpg / old FF look.

I bought one soon after the hack, I barely used it.
It was 100% worth it just for Freedom Wars and playing Steins Gate 0 comfy, but still, I feel cucked.

Yes, and that shared set of mechanics between Shiren and One-Way Heroics is extremely small.
You can't break walls consistently in Shiren, you don't have real time timers, you don't have character classes and so many other things, comparatively, you don't have to deal with Day and Night mechanics in One-Way Heroics, you are not forced to plan your way out of a dungeon you can't demolish with your weapons, there are not abstract puzzle dungeons and so on, the games require a totally different mindset to play.

If you want to compare stuff like Shiren to other mystery dungeon like Pokemon or Etrian that's one thing, because they indeed share a vast part of common rules and mechanics, but One Way Heroics is just too different in basic premises to be compared to Shiren games even though they're both roguelikes.

anon, you can compare splatoon to other shooters because they're all shooters. Slightly different mechanism makes them unique and stand out, but it's still a shooter and can be compared. There's not much to play on the vita.

There are some games i plan to replay, like Uncharted golden abyss, muramasa and persona 4 while waiting for Odin Sphere to be at a decent import price.

Does the Vita have any racing games? The only thing I've found that's worth playing is Wipeout and even that's kinda disappointing.

That is totally not way they got scared of it. They looked towards the bad sales of psp games to determine if they should make stuff for the vita. Bigwits and marketing team don't give a shit if the was piracy on the psp and that was the reason why psp sales were bad. All they care about is sales data. They looked towards that to determine if they should make games for the vita. And they say bad sales, hence they don't make vita games because they think it will follow the psp trend despite no piracy on the vita at the early years of the vita.

The PSP did have many great original JP only games, like Frontier Gate Boost+ or Elminage Gothic, but so does the Vita, especially when it's getting stuff like mainline SaGa games, a new Virtual On game and tons of other things.
The library of the Vita itself is also much bigger than the PSP's.

These are big AAA companies, they want big profits, not small ones. If Sony isn't commissioning them, they are not gonna go out and make more vita games. Hence they stop.

Tho vita keeps getting jrpgs and indie games. Profit is profit for smaller companies and enough to keep getting more and more localizations and more indie games every year.

IMO that's a tough call. If you like turn-based squad combat there's a good chance you'll like it. If you like cheesy mystery plots there's also a good chance you'll like it. It's also quite fun to try to break the game with some of the more overpowered skills you get towards the end.

The worst part is that the game expects you to beat it 2-3 times to really find out wtf was going on, which is bullshit IMO.

I bought a 3DS hoping there would be some new entries on series I previously enjoyed on the DS, like SaGa, Dangai Oh, Castlevania or Metal Max, I got nothing of the sort from the 3DS.
MH is a decent series but outside of that there's nothing on the 3DS that isn't either shovelware for normalfags or Nintendo shit, the DS wasn't like that, it had a lot of great games and third party support, people keep saing that Vita only gets shovelware, but the 3DS' library is much worse than the Vita when it comes to that, because outside of the big names its literally all shovelware and bad ports, or multiplats that play a lot better on the Vita.
To add insult to injury, some franchises I liked moved to Vita, so that made the 3DS even more worthless, there's still a few games that I really enjoyed, but I'm still very disappointed, the PSP had a better library than the 3DS, even some PSP games that moved on the 3DS, like Seventh Dragon, are much worse than the PSP games somehow.

In spite of everything, I still love my Vita. The fact that we got some PS2 games on this thing made the purchase worth it to me. And if there's a PS2 game that I really want to play, then I'll just use Moonlight.

don't know where all this weeb shit is coming from. I own a vita, and I have never played a weeb game on it.

Currently have xcom, civilization plus, the bridge, broken sword 5, and forma.8 installed on it. All games I'd otherwise have no interest in playing if they weren't on my vita.
