Is anyone still delusional enough to not think the Switch is replacing the 3DS?
Like, the entire point of this fucking thing is to be both a console and a handheld.
Not to mention the 3DS is getting phased out soon, and Nintendo isn't going to make a new handheld, ESPECIALLY since the handheld market is pretty much dead thanks to phones.

And fucking Pokemon is coming to it.
What else do you need?

I mean the GBA got phased out by the DS even though they said it wouldn't be.
I see no reason to expect that the 3DS will stay prominent, provided the Switch keeps selling.

Obviously the 3DS wasn't immediately killed like the Wii U because it was a success and still sold.
They're just churning out the last batch of the games for the 3DS. All the devs are moving on to Switch. FE, Pokemon, Kirby, etc.
