Game prices have stayed steady for the most part for me for 20 years, I paid $99 for DKC3 in 1996, the first game I ever brought first hand and Rabbids Kingdom Battle in spite of a significant increase in development costs is the same price, games have always been an expensive hobby, but it has at least been consistently expensive, other mediums have increased in cost even ahead of inflation whereas games have actually stayed the same in spite of inflation and significant increases in development costs.

X-com strategy is generally more complex. And there is the base management and all that, also quite replayable.

Rabbids is a fun game, the base game and hard + challenge are indeed challenging and there are some good humor from time to time.

There is still plenty of well paying job if you aren't afraid to work.

We lost 20% of our workforce to retirees last 3 years, and we gonna lose another 10% next 2 years, yet we can,t fill those jobs. Even if it's 18 starting, 30 5 year in no high school work with massive benefits.

But that game is easily worth that money.
It has plenty of focus on gameplay, the graphics are simple yet clean and the art style blends well, the soundtrack is very good and delivered by a notable composer in the industry and the cringeworthy humor of rabbids have been toned down by merging with the family friendly Mario franchise.
Honestly, it's more worth those 60 bucks than many other games with the same price tag, like CoD or Fifa.

But we can agree that it's just a matter of opinions. Right?

They shouldnt have started out that way to begin with. Vidya as a whole was too expensive of a hobby and should've been cheaper. People just fell for it because they were young and impressionable.

Also, the game offers more puzzle like challenges in some of its mission.
