Depends on the quality and effort of what is being made. There is none of it here due to Yanderedev firing and hiring people at random. He fired a 3D artist while he was working on it and they had to restart the game over again, he had to have Tinybuild redo the bad code into good code. If you just like the design aspect of it and don't really want to learn the intricacies of programming Game Programming goes pretty fucking deep if you write all systems yourself, then I would suggest that you just learn scripting and stick with shit like unity.

Well, in that case just make simple stuff first, I recommend C# to learn syntax, and eventually C++ to push limits. If you ever get interested in making a game without Unity, the first thing to do is to make a modular engine. Like anything, you fond better and better solutions the more familiar you are with a problem. Rewriting and redoing the project is perfectly normal and shouldn't be treated as an insult at all. It happens all the time.
