I'll play it one day when it runs really well on cemu, but that shit isn't really Donkey Kong anyways. It's more like reskinned Mario. I was super disappointed with DKCR. Completely unworthy of the name.

At least he and DK got into Rabbids but still.

For 2D animal mascot platformers DKC had such an interesting and grit atmosphere, as a kid it was one of my favorite series.

Yeah the original arcade game is one of my favorite games of all time

I played Donkey Kong Land for the first time recently and it was pretty alright. A lot of good levels in there and the bosses didn't suck shit unlike in the Country games. Impressive for a mere Gameboy game.

KoS was too slow and felt more like a puzzle platformer, while not terrible, i would say it's the weakest DK game if we don't count Barrel Blast.
JC improved a lot of things (diddy as a partner, faster gameplay, level design feeling like an actual platformer, etc..), making the game a lot more enjoyable.
