I completed the new "content" in less than 2 hours on my sub rogue, after that there was nothing but grind boxes/elites for shekels and wait for missions to complete, for more gated content because it hurts the casuals feefees if a few men get ahead of them.

You will basically have to do this new shitty content on every alt to progress, mandatory, which is really will crushing for someone that has 8 fully geared alts he needs to keep up geared.

I'll see how the new raid looks, if its fun I'll stay on my guild raiding, if its more of the same boring shitfest fights, I'm letting this sub drop, I would not recommend anybody resub right now.

I had a token, so I used it.

After being away for a year or more (as someone who has played since '04), this game is fucking tired. Every shred of it is spent. It is so clunky and dated it's not even funny. Everything in it has been done seven times over. It requires twenty mods and hours of setup just to make it playable. But maybe the worst part is just how casualized it has become. I really wonder if Blizzard even cares about it at this point.

AP and AK are now a non-issue. Max AK is acquired the moment you hit 110, and the initial Argus quests will basically catch up your Artifact and an Alt to boot.

Default UI is just so basic, featureless and only presents the most important information, but most of it is not shown in a way that is easy to see.

It depends on how long ago he started playing. About a year ago, people that started with the physical disks started having massive problems staying online for more than five minutes, then they couldn't even log in.

Turns out Legion was using a completely different build, and required a 100% fresh install. Odds are the person mentioning it was away too long and the "updates" are hitting a brick wall with his system.

Download one 20GB patch. it turns around and downloads another 19GB patch one update later.

Depends. If you have a follower with those gold items you can literally make 5k+ a day from just doing WQs on 1 character and that's just from doing the really quick ones.
Get your other followers up to 850-900 ilevel and you should get at least 4 of those mission table gold missions a week, which is a minimum of 2k if you 200% it.
Plus whatever you can make by playing the AH. It's really not hard to make the gold for a token.

I resubbed a month ago, having quit a couple of weeks into Legion, and am having a blast. I main a Hunter, but I've been playing my Monk alt more and more over the past couple of weeks. All three specs are so much fucking fun to play. Having all three roles available is so liberating too coming from a pure DPS class. I've tried playing a Druid before for that purpose, but I hate every single spec.

As for the content, Argus is okay, but it IS just a small daily quest area, despite the attempt to make it look like a new continent. Going back to ground mounts after just earning flying sucks too.
