""""""""""""henry"""""""""""" is the biggest faggot to ever play n64
pannenkoek was wrong. you cant half-press a digital button. you can do it with an analog button.
but all he is doing is holding the button down before the level starts, and he's releasing it.
thats not the same as half-pressing it
tj henry knows he is right, but probbaly doesnt want to make a fuss about it because of pannenkoek's army

Did you watch the video?
It's not about pressing a button halfway, a "half press" is just the way they notate the fact that he doesn't have to do the press to perform a given action but that holding it is enough (because there are contexts in which the button press will already have happened and as such is not required)

yea i watched it. you cant change the definition of a word just because you made a YouTube video
>>389089656
It's terminology the TAS community has been using forever, since way before pannenkoek became a thing. Everyone who gave a shit about these kinds of videos got the idea, everyone except """henry""" and you

The eternal debate.
>>389089656
He's not changing any definition though, it's a new, made up term used to differentiate something. Think of it like a figure of speech.

So explain the difference between a half press and holding a button
