I thought the Diggernaut fight looked pretty cool. There's quite a bit of variation in its attacks, moreso than I've seen in other metroid fights.

And that one was really stupid. It was a forklift/ power loader (obviously based on Aliens) in a room filled with big shipping crates that was clearly meant to move them around. Yet it comes equipped with buzzsaws and lasers that it would never need. And it's somehow strong enough to be worth a boss fight when Samus could just shoot the exposed driver instead.

This reminds me of the ending of the Blue Team mission in Halo 5, I'm not a fan of that game's campaign but I loved how Master Chief just walks over to the control panel and pushes the dead Grunt's corpse right off the panel like it's nothing. These subtle badass moments for Samus and Master Chief is one of the reasons I truly love both characters.
