M&KB actually works pretty well for this game. Parrying is made piss easy and you never have to use camera lock on. Aiming swings in blade mode can be a bit wonky at first but you can do it just fine with practice. The two other cons are that stormbringer is a bitch to execute and that there's negative mouse acceleration that you can't get rid of. You can get used to the latter, since the game doesn't require pinpoint precision at any point.

I beat Revengeance with all S rankings and it was fucking great. I hate the idea of camera lock on, so I'm glad that the devs didn't just completely write off M&KB.

Raiden killed Metal Gear RAYs in MGS2, several of them in fact.

Raiden in MGS4 was holding back Outer Heaven going into a harbor at full speed. Rising is not so ridiculous.

Doktor also says that Metal Gears are struggling to stay relevant on the market in a world where cyborg technology advances so rapidly, muscles for a RAY are harder to advance than muscles for a cyborg. So to compensate they make them fuckhueg and strap as much firepower as possible to them.

tl;dr metal gears were becoming obselete and only exist for wrecking cities, like EXCELSUS.

In MGS4 Raiden is ridiculously strong and probably more than capable to take down any MG in existence.

Parrying was easy and I had it down in the first 10 minutes of the demo.

Since this is a Platinum thread, anybody here play Transformers Devastation? I think that game is really underrated considering it's sandwiched in-between an okay tiny-budget Avatar game and a clusterfuck TMNT game in the Platinum Activision licensed games.

There's a TON of systems in play in that game, from stats to weapon looting/crafting to T.E.C.H. to things the game never even tells you like the Autobot symbol in the corner that works like God Hand's Level system. I'd put it up there with Bayo/Revegeance/W101 as one of their most enjoyable games.

I unlocked Magnus difficulty the other day and it really kicks your ass. I'm having trouble trying to beat the Challenge where you fight all 6 Constructicons on it; they just swarm you erratically so you can never focus on one for more than a single string at a time, at least as Optimus and Grimlock (my two mains).
