This game's meta on PC was actually quite good. Because it's easier to aim with a mouse and and because mouse has a higher skill ceiling (compared to a controller), explosives weren't as powerful relative to other weapons. It was a shit show on consoles, though.

There was no greater fun than getting all the run speed and silent perks and getting a care package smoke grenade (because you ran faster than normal with it) and massacring everyone with the melee. Legitimately fun game.

yeah, Infinity Ward made the game incredibly diverse in term of available playstyles. MW3 just looks like castrated MW2, to be honest.

As much of a shit show MW2 was, i still had some of the best moments in pvp shooters with this game
