Good gameplay like Melee but with Smash 4's roster. That's all I want.

I don't expect that, but I do expect tweaks. Nintendo became more vocal/involved with Smash's tournament representation since 4's release. If anything , a couple things here and there to capitalize on Melee/Project M's popularity would make sense.

I doubt Sakurai would do that voluntarily though.

You have to download a driver to get the Nintendo brand adapter to work with a PC (Mayflash adapters work natively, you just have to flip a switch), but once you do that, it works fine.

Just bring over all the 3DS stages and modes (and replace Classic Mode with the 3DS's) and redistribute the songs throughout the stages or maybe add a few to fill in for any stages that may need more. Also bring over all the 3DS version's trophies of course, maybe adding some for whatever newer Switch games had come out. Doesn't even need new characters, I'd be pretty happy enough with just having all of that in a single package.

I actually wouldn't mind Steve. The sheer popularity and success of Minecraft has earned him a spot, regardless of whether or not people actually want him.

A redux of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS releasing exclusively on the Nintendo Switch platform. A New Nintendo 3DS release is undesirable and eats up any time for additional Smash Bros. general content.
Some of the newcomers include Classic Sonic, another is Paper Mario. Veterans include Solid Snake, Ice Climbers and Young Link. There are more Third-party representative newcomers than First-party Nintendo stars, including non-debut Video Game character(s). Development is planned to wrap up around 2018 just before the 20th Anniversary of Super Smash Bros.

I hope they never make a Smash again.

4 is the GOAT, they don't need to do more.

I'd like to see giygue from earthbound, Kyo from kof (because neo geo games have been getting on to the eshop) and isaac from golden sun.
I'd also want snake to come back (or big boss for that matter) but I don't see that happening
