Adults wait until they have time to use something before they buy it. I have games on my wishlist because, even if I bought them today, I wouldn't have time to start playing them until I'm done with the games I'm playing currently. By the time I actually want to play them, they might be cheaper, and if I'm not in a hurry to start playing then I might as well wait for a sale too. Paying more than you need to pay for a game is irrational. Impatience and impulsiveness are childish qualities which mature adults do not have.
