The game just felt pointless. We played 64 twenty years ago.
The motion controls were fine, but fuck using two screens at once.

A sequel? No. A remake? Possible.

Seriously though can they just do a proper non-goofy sequel? Star Fox 2 is great and interesting. They need an equivalent for the next one. Definitely keep in on-rails shooter sequences though, I like that genre and it's nearly deceased.

I know this is shitposting because someone has a death wish against the game but I think the foundation it set still works for a sequel or maybe even a prequel.

But the only way another Star Fox will get made is if someone wants to make one. If it ends up on the Switch (which it might not since skipping a generation happened on the Wii) they'll probably do a big focus on multiplayer. Wouldn't be surprised if they did something Gradius-inspired or just had two player co-op by controling two members of the team.
