Ori, axiom verge, even xeodrifter are pretty good games, better than some metroid games. Heck recently hollow knight has like 40 hours worth of content

SR animations are god tier and the fluidity the provide is fantastic. I?ve just played the best buy demo and while the graphics are indeed low poly and low res. the animations and implementation put every sprite based metroid game to shame

This is legitimately one of the worst metroidvania I've ever played. The level design is dogshit and there's only one single boss rehashed through the whole game.

it cost me like 4 bucks and it was interesting for what it was, the game had barely any save point and the same enemy with harder patters blended well with the "memorize and repeat" gameplay style.
i'm glad it's just a few hours long. an entertaining experience
