As we know the library of PC games is vast and a great many of our favourites are old and that often brings issues when running on modern hardware and software. For this thread we should post old PC games (preferably good ones) that just work on modern systems - nothing needs to be done with them beyond isntalling the game and (optionally) any official patches.
Fucking about with the registry, getting api wrappes, tweaking config files to unlock resolutions etc etc do not count - the game needs to be about as plu-and-play as PC games can be.
Webm related - game released in 2001 and works perfectly (and natively supports widescreen resolutions no less).
